Finally, I'm back~! =)
Ok... Been enjoying myself the whole week... lol~
This week alone, with mom, I've conquered the following:
- Causeway Point Basement Japanese Shop for the Sushi
Wanted FRESH sushi, so we ended up there...
Was disappointed with the selection on the roll about cargo thingy (forget what's it called).... Some of the sushi were sticking to each other, and the selection was a tad miserable, even to my taste.... :(
Don't think I'll be back for more le... :(
- Causeway Point Ajisan
Again, a BIG disappointment....
For a new restaurant, it was super, duper disappointing....
The food was all cold; the ramen and the side dishes...
Damn it! They even misplaced my side-dish to another table and we ended up finishing everything BEFORE we saw the missing side dish.... :(
Service was also... not worth mentioning... Sigh~
Overall? Shitty experiences with food the whole week.
The worse thing?
I was treating my mom...
Hell... I should had spent my money on Crystal Jade... I KNOW my money would had been well spent...
Maybe I need to go Jurong Point Shopping Centre, Sushi Tei or Waraku to satisfy myself next....
With Xiao Mei
Oh well, wanted to buy something; bags, shoes... etc.
Ended up buying books and manga at Kino... =)
So, we had our lunch at this Shokudo Japanese Coffee House. Food and service was good, as compared to the above. =)
Would recommend it, especially on weekdays! =)
With Candy and Xiao Mei
Oh well, we went shopping. =)
Dinner was at Ajitei... Again, BAD experience... Xiao mei's dinner was like missing until Candy and I were half done with our food...
Food was again NOT hot; service was again bad; with the desert menu being asked a record 3 times before it was delivered...
My Gawd... What's with Ajisan and Ajitei's service and food quality?!?!?!?!
Guess I'll be moving my money to other Japanese restaurants then...
Should be eating at Sushi Tei (Holland V) the coming week, I think with the food gang again...
Let's all hope Sushi Tei can meet everyone's expectation, since I've recommended it to Xiao Mei and Candy for this round...
Hmm... I think seriously speaking, I need to go Japan someday, especially Osaka and Hokkaido, for food...
Gawd...
Anyone wants to go? =)
Finally went shopping for my shoes at Bugis (AGAIN) today...
Ended up:
- 4 pairs of shoes;
- 1 SWATCH watch;
- a couple of necklaces
While walking by SWATCH, I realised I've NEVER worn a watch for like the last few years and I need one coz I'm sick of forever taking my HP out just to look at the time and asking people occasionally as well for the time...
My new watch is the model GK733, SNOWCOVERED, under the Core selection. ;)
Oh well, after being at SWATCH, I'm like, half in love with watches now! This should say something, since I've not worn any watches for the past few years...
Also finally understand Le Liang's obsession with watches.. Hahahahaha~
The sales assistant, Michelle, was helpful with my queries and also gave me a copy of the catalog for the Fall-Winter Collection 2008 when I asked for one(which was also the last copy in the store, btw~) =)
I'm so gonna look through the copy and purchase my next SWATCH watch... =)
Actually, I'm not particular about the brands and I was also looking at 2 of Casio's watches after my purchase at SWATCH...
Needless to say, I ended up not happy at the 3 shops I went to since the sales personnel would rather stand around me talking to their colleagues and ignore me than to serve me at all 3 shops I went to, even though I was in all 3 shops for more than 10 minutes each) while at Bugis...
Well, guess T-shirt and shorts does bring out the worst in the service personnel and makes most personnel ignore the fact that most T-shirt people also wear office wear and earn a monthly income doing work in the OFFICE during the week...
Oh well, if that's the case, I'll stick to SWATCH and let them earn my money then with my future purchases... After all, a person can never be satisfied with just ONE watch, can he/she? =)
Really kudos to SWATCH for their good service!
All right~~
Now, I'm 3/4 ready for tomorrow's job assessment~! (The other 1/4 belongs to self-confidence level and the experience I will have tomorrow~!)
Wish me luck~! =)
