Busy, busy~~~~
Oh well, been busy the whole week...
My new job?
An Assistant teacher in a childcare centre =)
It's a full time job, Monday - Friday, with the Saturday thrown in once in a month.
The best thing(s)?
I don't need to:
- Work on Sundays;
- Saturdays are like, once in a month, from 7AM-2PM;
- look at letters and faxes and call;
- Call customers;
- Look and reply emails;
- etc, etc.
Also, I get the following:
- Free lunches,
- My travel expenses cut down by 2-3 times (for now),
- After work, I don't need to think of anything else,
- I reach home within 45 minutes,
- Fulfilment from my job,
- etc,etc.
Wow~~!! So it IS true that with a pay cut, you DO get less stress!!!! =)
Anyway, I've been working for one week now and so far, from what I hear from my principal, my comments have been good! =)
Hope I can keep it this way!!! *Prays*
My schedule goes like this:
- work starts at 9AM, but I arrive normally at 8.30AM.
- Until 1PM, I'm attached to the nursery section.
- 1-2PM, I'm off for in-house lunch.
- From 2PM to 6.30PM, I'm attached to the Playgroup section.
To me, my schedule for the top half is hectic while the bottom half is like heaven... hahahahaha~
There are alot of students, and sad to say, until now, I can't remmember half of my Nursery students name.
I've memorised and matched the faces and names of my students in the Playgroup section though. =)
Personally, I love the playgroup more coz the kids there are just so cute!!! =)
Kids are so easily fulfilled at this age!
They don't:
- demand for this and that;
- Demand for handphones and mp3 and stuff like the primary, secondary school students today;
- Scream back much at the teachers...
Best of all, they are:
- obey you most of the time;
- easily satisfied with stickers (I love stickers too!!!);
- So, so adorable at this age!!
I've finally found job fulfillment, and after work, I can go home within 45 minutes max and look forward to the next day... Something different from my last job where I look forward to the LAST day of the week instead... Hahahaha~
I love my new job! =)
