Random Posting...
Lol...
As the title above suggests...
Just realise I've not posted for a long time... (Opps~)
So, here's the update so far:
Birthday
Went to give Twinee her present on 14th Oct. Actually, I was down for duty that day, and twinee's b-day party was in the afternoon...
Lol... I think I broke my records for spending on a b-day gift.
Hahahaha~
Along with the box and and ribbon, everything amounted to be about $80-$90.
Since she was my best buddy, I didn't think much and will still not think much on the money spent, coz it's worth it...
(Though my sister thinks I am more the giver and thinker than a receiver... Everything will think of friends, what to get for them when on holiday... etc She terms me TOO LOADED for others, too broke for myself... )
Anyway, back to the party...
In the end, I went to her house.
Stayed until 9+pm in fact... Hahaha~ watched her unwrapped her presents, surrounded by her family...
And I sort of envy her and her family...
My family is not the close type. Fictions between each other, for money, for whatsoever...
Also, guess my luck and fate with friends are not good/high enough...
I'm not close to any of my friends or my relatives. Family, yes, but out of the family, nah...
I've learned. Sometimes, it's just too hard to rely on someone, when humans will ultimately backstab you and betray you. (But hey, no human is perfect...)
So, when I saw twinee surrounded by her family, friends, presents, I wonder to myself...
- Will I be able to be surrounded by so many people I know? Somehow, I think if it was my b-day, I would end up surrounded by my dad's, and mom's friends... Whom I do not even know on close terms....
- How many people will be able to be surrounded by people they know on close terms especially on their birthday?
Not me...
Presents.... In my whole life, I've never received more than 4 presents at one shot in a year....
Highest record? By my attachment company...
Weird, isn't it... In terms of presents, I got the most on age 21, and the record is from my attachment company if you wanna count by numbers...
Was specially touched when I saw the cake, even if it was a mini-one.
In terms of wishing? record holder's still my attachment company... hahaha~
No, I'm not grumbling... I'm just counting my blessings....
At least I still managed to get b-day wishings smses on my b-day...
Touched?
Definitely... At least someone remembered my b-day..
Work
Should I move on to a new job?
Should I take a break first?
One thing's sure, I'm NOT going back to study... Not now anyway...
Guess Poly turned me off my studies for now...
But I will have to go and study soon...
Guess Grades and title win this round then..
Without a degree, you are basically worthless...
Even if you have a crap of a diploma...
Alcohol and Panadol
At the rate I'm going, I'm surprised myself why I've still not taken up drinking....
I swear my line of work will drive even a determined person to start drinking...
Other than taking a damn panadol just about every other day...
Hell......
I swear if I see my damn name on the bosses' e-mail list again, I will RESIGN as planned...
Just because I believed the stupid engineers' words and proceeded to e-mail our customers based on their enquiry, I got on the HOT (wanted) list...
I.Am.FREAKING.OUT.
