Tang Yuan Mission (Mission Impossible?!?!)
Yah yah.. I know... I'm getting slower and slower in updating my blog... lol
Anyway, this week is all about finding a place that sells Tang Yuan... Yah, I been lusting after Tang Yuan for a long, long time... lol~~~
So~~~~ Here's what happened the whole week:
Monday:
Well, Monday was plain (*^&%^&( .... Simply pathetic... Reached the bustop and waited 20 minutes for the bus... Guess what I saw?
Yah... SUPER crowded... So full, that I almost ended up late even though I waited almost 1/2 hour just to get on the bus... And it ended up full... Pui~~
I sincerely hope SBS can do something about bus number 91.... PEAK hour and still every 15 minutes or so then come along one ALMOST full bus.... What the (*&&%^(
Conclusion? Took a taxi... and become poorer... Stupid bus...
Tuesday:
Smart... Waited until 8am to get on the double-decker... Still left standing, but not THAT crowded...
Went met Jason after work... Ended up at Tiong Bahru...In search of Tang Yuan...
Ended up eating this:
-Black Pepper Chicken On Hot Plate-
Jason had carrot cake...
(Sorry no pic of a carrot cake... lol~)
Conclusion?No tang yuan... Obviously.... lmao~~
Wednesday:
Nothing exciting, except everyone who used my mouse kept complaining my mouse lousy... But I like my mouse... It's the keyboard I cannot Tahan!!! (<- cannot stand the keyboard)... Kept CTRL+C the stupid numbers/words I want to copy, and still can't be copied....
Conclusion? Lousy Keyboard... Lousy Mouse... And yah... No Tang Yuan in sight... Sigh...
Thursday:
Ah, well, went met up with Jason, in search of Tang Yuan... AGAIN... Wahahaha~~~
Ended up meeting him at Lavender, and after which, we walked up,down and up,down again from Lavender MRT to Golden Mile Food Center... Lol~~~
1st up-down was because Jason remembered the store was somewhere in Golden Mile... (Note! We only knew the building was Golden Mile Food Center when we got there... Lol!! Now I know how close Golden Mile is, to Lavender MRT! haha~~ )
2nd up-down was because, when we walked down the first time, we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, hence, the walk UP to Golden Mile again... lol
This time, Jason decided to go to the toilet and I just dumped my bag onto the nearest chair and sat down, while pondering what I was going to eat... Guess what did I see when I turned around to investigate what the Food Center was Selling?!?!
Tang Yuan Stall!!!!
Biang~~~ We walked up, down the first time and the two of us so blind!!!!
lol~~ But then, was abit sad, coz the store was not opened... T.T
So, ended up I went to order my food:
-Narchos Fish and Chips-
while Jason had:
-Pork Ribs Prawn Mee-
And guess what Jason informed me after he ordered his food??
He saw another Tang Yuan store at the next row!!!!
Whee~~~~~
(No pic of the store here... A bit embarrassed Coz I figured if I took a photo of the store, the auntie will look at me as if I'm an idiot... lol)
But But, Lo and Behold!!

I have my Favourite Sesame!! Whee~~~ Although Jason said the Sesame taste good only with chicken and that sesame reminds him of chicken and chicken rice... lol
Jason was more daring... He had different flavours; Yam, peanut, red bean and sesame!!!

Sooo~~!
Lol... But then, when we were going home, I decided to take a chance and ride the bus... Ended up the biggest mistake made! Coz, there were roaches next to where I was sitting!!! And the ONE thing I hate more than anything, is ROACH.... *(^*&)*^&*
Had to endure the 1 1/2 hour plus bus ride, with the roaches, 3 in total and in different sizes,running up,down the bus the entire time!!!!
Stupid Roaches!!!!!
But then, it's ok!! Since... I've ATE TANG YUAN at last!!! Whee~~~
Conclusion? Mission Accomplished!!
Tang Yuan Mission Conquered!!
Whee~~~
Friday:
Didn't do anything much, had a tummy upset... Must be too much eating yesterday... lol~~ My stomach was churning the whole day... But was hungry and growling at 1100(an hour before lunch), and 1600 onwards... lol
Well...
Conclusion? Next time, don't be a smart ass, and eat so full the previous night!!
